Communications racks and cabinets play a vital role in any communications infrastructure system, and that is no more evident than in a Data Centre. Not only do they hold server, network equipment, patch panels and cable management, but they are extremely important in the cooling, management and maintenance of your equipment.

A poorly designed or installed rack can cause havoc with expensive network services. A closed rack will cause hotspots and costly overheating, resulting in significant slow down, power use and often failure. Yet completely open racks will do exactly the same thing. A properly vented cabinet will direct airflow over the areas that need it the most, reduce dust intake and will make a massive difference in network performance and reliability.
